Preschool Japanese Language Teacher

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Japanese Language Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Pandan Valley, Singapore. You will create a fun, immersive environment that introduces preschool‑aged children to Japanese language and culture through age‑appropriate activities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging Japanese lessons for children aged 3‑5, using songs, stories, games and visual aids.
• Monitor attendance and track each child’s language progress.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to integrate language activities across the curriculum.
• Provide regular feedback to parents on their child’s development.
• Identify learning challenges early and refer children for additional support when needed.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience teaching Japanese to young learners, preferably in a preschool or early‑childhood setting.
• Commitment to a full‑time schedule, Monday to Friday, 8 AM‑1 PM, on a long‑term basis.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for early childhood education.

Required skills

• Fluency in Japanese (spoken and written).
• Ability to create lesson plans using songs, stories, games and visual materials.
