Prime Mover Driver (Class 4/5)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Prime Mover Driver (Class 4/5) to transport containers and loose cargo across Singapore. You will ensure timely, accurate deliveries while maintaining high safety and documentation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and deliver containers and loose cargo island‑wide on schedule.
• Check, tally and handle cargoes carefully; report any discrepancy or damage immediately.
• Verify and complete all required documentation, including delivery notes, pick‑up orders and permits.
• Endorse customs checkpoint permits when required.
• Report job progress and on‑site issues to the traffic control team.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and keep the vehicle clean and roadworthy.
• Handle company assets and equipment responsibly.
• Adhere to traffic regulations and workplace safety & health (WSH) requirements.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Valid Class 4 or 5 licence with a good driving record (fresh Class 4 accepted).
• Prior prime mover experience; familiarity with PSA or Jurong Port preferred.
• Good communication and basic literacy for documentation.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including early mornings or night runs.
