Principal Product Manager (Lead)

About the role

NCS, an AI tech services company and subsidiary of the Singtel Group, is looking for a Principal Product Manager (Lead) in Singapore. The role suits a senior product leader who can work at both strategic and execution levels, influence senior stakeholders, make prioritisation decisions and shape client problem statements while connecting business goals to practical delivery outcomes. It covers product leadership, portfolio prioritisation, operating model design, governance, analytics and executive engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of products, product streams or strategic initiatives from planning through delivery, turning strategic priorities into roadmaps and delivery plans across squads.
• Define and improve the product operating model and governance across squads, clarifying roles, decision rights and standardised practices such as discovery, roadmap planning, backlog management and experimentation.
• Shape portfolio investment and prioritisation, develop business cases and investment proposals, and influence executive stakeholders on trade-offs.
• Set up a product analytics approach and value realisation framework using OKRs, product health metrics, adoption measures and commercial impact metrics, with regular reporting to leadership.
• Provide thought leadership, mentor product managers and help build product frameworks, standards and playbooks.

Required profile

• More than 15 years of experience in product management and consulting, including leadership of complex products, portfolios or transformation initiatives.
• Proven experience in product delivery in both government and commercial environments.
• Experience in pre-sales and solutioning, including shaping client problem statements and presenting solutions to senior stakeholders.
• Product management certification required; Agile, Scrum, Lean or related delivery certifications are advantageous.
