Proactive Sales Manager – Hotel Industry

About the role

The Sales Manager (Proactive) will drive new corporate and group business for Fairmont Singapore and Swissôtel The Stamford. You will work closely with Accor sales offices and focus on expanding market reach, especially within the China market.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, source and secure new corporate and group accounts.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate target markets.
• Conduct cold calls, client visits, networking and sales missions.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of leads and opportunities.
• Represent the hotels at industry events, trade shows and networking sessions.
• Collaborate with Accor sales offices to broaden market coverage.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to uncover opportunities.
• Develop and manage business opportunities within the China market, building relationships with key partners.
• Achieve new‑business targets and revenue‑growth KPIs.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, Marketing or a related field (preferred).
• Proven track record in hotel sales with strong proactive and reactive sales experience.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and client‑relationship management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Results‑driven, adaptable and resourceful with solid market knowledge.

Required skills

• Opera PMS (or similar property management system) for managing bookings and business blocks.
