Process Engineering Technician – Shift Role

About the role

As a Process Engineering Technician you will work in a cleanroom environment supporting R&D and manufacturing of advanced semiconductor and display technologies. You will prepare wafers, operate thin‑film reactors, and use scanning electron microscopes to collect data that drives process optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare wafers and cross‑section samples for experimentation and analysis.
• Operate reactors and other semiconductor processing equipment to execute thin‑film recipes.
• Record process conditions, experimental observations and perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Assist engineers with recipe troubleshooting, data collection, and feedback for process improvement.
• Collaborate with internal and external tool owners to schedule equipment time and align on process sequences.

Required profile

• ITE/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Materials Science or related field.
• More than 3 years experience in semiconductor manufacturing or R&D, with familiarity of cleanroom operations.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to follow SOPs and work rotating shifts (9 am‑6 pm / 4 pm‑11 pm).
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
