Process Support Engineer (Epitaxy)

About the role

The Process Support Engineer (Epitaxy) will guide semiconductor products through their full lifecycle, from concept to qualification, providing on‑site customer support, system diagnostics, and equipment repair.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site installations, system diagnoses, and repair of complex semiconductor equipment.
• Collaborate with customers and R&D to develop cutting‑edge processes for advanced chips.
• Create hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOE), analyse data with statistics and compile high‑level reports.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, conduct root‑cause analyses and resolve difficult process engineering problems.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and customers to build relationships and trust.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics or related field.
• 4–7 years of semiconductor process experience, preferably in epitaxy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for customer interaction.
• Willingness to work daily at the customer’s cleanroom site.
