Process Support Engineer – Metrology (Semiconductor)

About the role

The Process Support Engineer (Metrology) will guide semiconductor products through their entire lifecycle, from concept to qualification, providing on‑site customer support and driving advanced process development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑visibility customer support through on‑site installations, system diagnoses, and service and repair of complex semiconductor equipment.
• Work closely with customers to develop leading‑edge processes for advanced chip manufacturing.
• Create hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOE), analyse data statistically and compile detailed reports.
• Troubleshoot complex problems, perform root‑cause analyses and resolve difficult process‑engineering and product issues.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and customers to build relationships and achieve project goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in a semiconductor fab or equipment environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to convey technical information clearly.
• Fluent English communication proficiency.
