Process Support Engineer – New College Graduate

About the role

The Process Support Engineer (PSE) will support customers on‑site, guiding semiconductor products from concept through qualification. You will work closely with R&D and customers to develop cutting‑edge processes for advanced chip manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site installations, system diagnostics, and repair of complex semiconductor equipment.
• Collaborate with customers to develop and optimise processes for technologies such as CVD, ALD, plasma etch, PVD, anneal and implant.
• Create hypothesis experiments and design of experiments (DOE), analyse data statistically and produce technical reports.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, conduct root‑cause analyses and resolve process‑engineering problems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials, electrical engineering, optoelectronics or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for customer interaction and stakeholder alignment.
• Willingness to work daily at the customer’s clean‑room site.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) and Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD) processes.
• Experience with Plasma Reactive Ion Etch, Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD), anneal and ion implant technologies.
• Ability to design experiments (DOE) and apply statistical analysis.
