Procurement Director – Asia

About the role

The organisation, a leading B2B integrated distribution services provider, is seeking a Procurement Director for Asia. Based in Singapore, this senior leader will shape procurement strategy, sourcing, and governance across multiple Asian markets, reporting directly to the executive leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the procurement strategy and operating model across Asia, overseeing regional and in‑market teams.
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing and category management plans for indirect spend, capex, logistics, warehousing, facilities, transport, technology, labour services and business services.
• Strengthen supplier management, contract governance, service‑level agreements, performance reviews and risk controls.
• Drive measurable cost optimisation, savings delivery, supplier value creation and total‑cost management.
• Improve procurement governance, including sourcing discipline, decision rights, savings methodology, reporting cadence, compliance and performance visibility.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Legal, IT, HR, Supply Chain and other stakeholders to enhance procurement outcomes.
• Build a stronger procurement organisation through clearer accountabilities, regional‑market alignment, capability development and execution discipline.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, category management or procurement leadership.
• Proven regional or multi‑country procurement leadership experience, ideally across Asia.
• Track record managing large‑scale spend in indirect categories, capex, logistics, warehousing, facilities, transport, technology, leasing or business services.
• Experience leading procurement transformation, governance uplift, operating‑model improvement or capability building.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver cost savings, supplier performance improvement, risk reduction and measurable business value.
• Strong executive stakeholder management skills, capable of working with CFOs, global leadership and senior governance forums.
• Background in FMCG, industrial services, logistics, consumer healthcare, pharmaceutical distribution or similar complex regional environments is highly relevant.
