Procurement Director – Automotive Electronics

About the role

The Procurement Director will lead the design and implementation of procurement frameworks for an automotive electronics business. This senior position is responsible for shaping category strategies, supplier performance, and risk management across both direct and indirect spend.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end procurement policies, SOPs and category strategies for direct and indirect spend.
• Implement supplier performance and risk management frameworks.
• Drive strategic sourcing and enterprise‑level contract negotiations to achieve cost reduction and total cost of ownership optimisation.
• Build and manage the supplier base through regular audits, performance reviews and strategic partnerships within the automotive electronics ecosystem.
• Develop and lead a high‑performing procurement team, defining roles, career paths and fostering cross‑functional collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive procurement experience, with a proven track record in the automotive electronics industry.
• Hands‑on experience building procurement functions from scratch.
• Deep knowledge of APAC/SEA supply markets.
