Procurement Engineer

About the role

The Procurement Engineer will manage the purchase of technical equipment for industrial and construction projects. Working closely with designers and site teams, you will ensure that equipment is sourced, negotiated, and delivered on time and within budget to support project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers and site teams to identify and specify equipment requirements.
• Research, evaluate, and select vendors that meet project specifications.
• Negotiate purchase agreements and award contracts for engineering equipment.
• Monitor equipment supply, adjusting schedules to keep projects on track.
• Maintain organized records to ensure a consistent flow of equipment to worksites.
• Ensure vendors comply with contract terms and performance expectations.
• Draft procurement plans that guide purchasing activities.
• Participate in scheduled meetings, including occasional Saturday meetings, to coordinate procurement efforts.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of procurement experience in the construction sector.
• Ability to read CAD drawings is a plus.
