Procurement Executive (Marine)

About the role

The Marine Procurement Executive provides hybrid technical and purchasing support to keep a globally diverse fleet seaworthy and operationally ready. The role bridges vessel operations, supplier logistics and technical compliance, ensuring that all required spares, stores and provisions reach ships on time.

Key responsibilities

• End‑to‑end marine procurement: source, negotiate and arrange timely delivery of vessel requirements to ports worldwide.
• Technical & compliance support: assist Technical Superintendents in planning and coordinating Class and Flag surveys to maintain valid trading certificates.
• Dry‑docking & repair logistics: review yard specifications, compile budget quotes and track off‑land items sent ashore for servicing.
• Vendor & documentation management: evaluate supplier performance, maintain accurate inventory logs (e.g., gas bottles, spares) and ensure proper closure of purchase orders and invoices.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience in technical purchasing or procurement within the maritime industry (vessel, fleet, tank or gas).
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment with career growth prospects.
