Procurement Manager – 1 Year Contract

About the role

The Procurement Manager will lead the sourcing and acquisition of training courses, events and related logistical items on a 1‑year contract basis. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external providers to ensure value‑driven procurement while complying with corporate policies and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify potential vendors and assess their capabilities.
• Prepare procurement documents such as Direct Contracting (DC), Invitation to Quote (ITQ) and Invitation to Tender (ITT) in line with Instruction Manual 8 (IM8).
• Manage sourcing and procurement of training courses, events and related logistical items.
• Participate in commercial and legal negotiations with course and training providers to optimise value and outcomes.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and recommend contract awards.
• Oversee vendor onboarding ensuring compliance with Finance, Audit, Procurement and Legal requirements.
• Monitor contract delivery and verify fulfilment of agreed deliverables.
• Ensure timely processing of invoices and vendor payments.
• Track budget utilisation against area of responsibility and proactively highlight risks.
• Maintain adherence to procurement policies, audit standards and regulatory requirements.
