Procurement Officer

About the role

The Procurement Officer will support the Senior Procurement & Logistics Officer in purchasing and ensuring timely delivery of general and bulk materials for construction projects. The role involves reviewing supplier arrangements, coordinating equipment leasing, and managing inventory across main and site stores.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in purchasing and delivery of project materials, reviewing supplier pricing, negotiations, and performance.
• Prepare cost fluctuation reports, ERP entries for invoices, and billing summaries.
• Coordinate leasing of construction machinery, monitor supply usage, and close supplier accounts at project completion.
• Process debit/credit notes, reconcile invoices, and handle backcharges to subcontractors.
• Audit and monitor main and site store inventories, ensuring compliance with procurement policies.

Required profile

• Knowledge of procurement processes.
• Experience in purchasing, import/export, or construction field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook; basic ERP knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills.
