Product Manager, Internal Tools

About the role

StraitsX is looking for a Product Manager to build and improve the tools used by its internal teams. You will work closely with teams across StraitsX to understand operational needs, identify pain points and turn them into clear product requirements and scalable solutions. The scope covers internal tools for Operations, Fraud, Compliance and Risk, including dashboards, workflow tools, Fraud Detection Systems, transaction monitoring, screening, investigation workflows and case management.

Key responsibilities

• Work with internal teams to understand workflows, pain points and product needs.
• Translate business and operational requirements into clear product requirements and user stories.
• Build and improve internal dashboards, workflows, case management tools and operational controls.
• Support Fraud and Compliance capabilities such as FDS, transaction monitoring, screening and investigation tools.
• Support internal tooling across different StraitsX products and markets.
• Work closely with Engineering from problem definition through launch and ongoing improvement.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency.
• Use data and user feedback to prioritise and improve internal tools.

Required profile

• 3-5 years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Product Operations or a similar role.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to simplify operational processes.
• Good communication skills and ability to work across business and technical teams.
• Able to translate user and business needs into clear product requirements.
• Detail-oriented and comfortable working with workflows, rules and operational processes.
• Comfortable using data and user feedback to support product decisions.
• Interest in fintech, payments, fraud, compliance or financial services.
• Experience with internal tools, payments, KYC/KYB, fraud, transaction monitoring or screening is a plus.
