Production Assistant Intern

About the role

A homegrown media company in Singapore is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Production Intern to join its Production Team. You will gain hands-on experience across pre-production planning, on-set support and post-production coordination, working on engaging, high-quality visual content. The internship lasts a minimum of 24 weeks (6 months).

Key responsibilities

• Pre-production: organize and prepare materials for shoots, coordinate schedules and liaise with team members and vendors, and help with location scouting and permits.
• On-set: provide on-site support during shoots, set up and break down equipment and do basic maintenance, and assist with props and wardrobe.
• Post-production: organize media files and production documents, work with editors and other post-production staff, and monitor project timelines and deliverables.
• Admin: maintain production logs, budgets and schedules, track inventory of equipment and supplies, and carry out other tasks assigned by the production manager.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Communications, Media or Film Studies, or currently studying for one.
• Strong passion for film, video or media production.
• Ability to handle several activities and projects at once under tight deadlines.
• Commitment to a minimum of 24 weeks (6 months).

Required skills

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (a must).
• Basic knowledge of production equipment and software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and cameras is a plus.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
