Production Operator / Technician

About the role

Join a fast‑growing manufacturing company in Singapore as a Production Operator / Technician. You will support production projects by assembling wire harnesses and various cable types, ensuring high quality and timely output.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly tasks, including wire harnesses and cable assemblies (multi‑core, coaxial, power, flat).
• Assemble, modify, rework, or re‑assemble parts using drawings, pick tickets, and verbal instructions.
• Prepare and operate basic hand tools and machines such as power screwdrivers, rulers, soldering irons, clamp machines, heat guns, solder pots, crimpers, pinning machines, and automatic wire strippers.
• Clean parts before production use and identify wires using colour‑code sequences.
• Participate in first‑run production for new products and support inventory handling and cycle counting.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement activities and maintain good teamwork.
• Meet daily production output and quality targets.

Required profile

• Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions for harness and cable assembly.
• Proficiency in crimping and soldering tasks.
• Experience in detailed hand assembly on a paced production line.
