Production Supervisor

About the role

BeeX is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily production activities for its advanced Hovering Autonomous Underwater Vehicles. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will coordinate with technicians, engineers, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality subsea robotics hardware.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage production plans using MRP/ERP systems, aligning schedules with build targets and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate material requirements, monitor inventory, and prevent bottlenecks by managing component availability.
• Interpret engineering drawings, bills of materials and technical specifications to guide manufacturing and procurement.
• Manage suppliers and sub‑contractors, negotiate lead times, oversee logistics and optimise costs.
• Establish quality control processes, conduct inspections, handle NCRs and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Support electromechanical assembly of AUVs, thrusters, pressure housings and subsea connectors, contributing to design‑for‑manufacturability improvements.
• Apply lean manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen) to improve workflow efficiency and reduce waste.
• Maintain production tracking systems and reporting tools such as Excel and ClickUp.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and conduct risk assessments.
• Communicate across design, production, procurement and management to align priorities and resolve issues.

Required profile

• Diploma or B.Eng in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Mechatronics or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, production planning, supply chain or operations; marine or robotics experience is a plus.
• Hands‑on familiarity with MRP/ERP systems and inventory management.
• Strong ability to read engineering drawings, BOMs and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of quality control methods, NCRs and RCA.
• Experience managing suppliers and sub‑contractors.
• Self‑driven, organised and dependable with strong coordination skills.
