Production Supervisor – Semiconductor Operations

About the role

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a team of technicians and production staff in our semiconductor manufacturing facility in East Singapore. The role focuses on overseeing assembly, inspection, testing and final test operations while ensuring safety, quality and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise employees across production functions including assembly, inspection, test and final test of capital equipment and components.
• Prioritise production schedules and participate in operational meetings.
• Develop, track and report performance metrics; schedule and conduct milestone meetings.
• Address operational issues affecting customer satisfaction and ensure compliance with customer and vendor requirements.
• Lead safety initiatives, prevent accidents and ensure all staff complete required EHS training.
• Manage hiring, training, performance appraisal, rewards and disciplinary actions.
• Analyse capacity, identify process and quality improvements and drive Lean, Safety and Quality programmes.
• Prepare cost‑of‑quality analyses and initiate corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in semiconductor, electronics or equipment manufacturing, with proven leadership experience.
• Deep understanding of fab operations, process integration and advanced manufacturing systems.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and digital manufacturing tools.
