Programme Associate – Active Ageing Centre

About the role

The Home Nursing Foundation is seeking a Programme Associate to support its Active Ageing Centre (AAC) across Hougang and surrounding neighborhoods. You will play a pivotal role in engaging seniors, managing volunteers, and ensuring smooth centre operations while delivering high‑impact wellness programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Engage seniors to participate in centre activities and support outreach to grow membership.
• Coordinate volunteer recruitment, screening, training, and ongoing engagement.
• Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating wellness and outreach programmes, covering trainer absences when needed.
• Maintain centre cleanliness, safety, and support festive events or outings.
• Handle administrative tasks such as attendance records, volunteer registry, home‑visit documentation, fee collection, invoicing, and basic bookkeeping.
• Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders, support purchasing, stock monitoring, and audit preparation.

Required profile

• GCE ‘O’ Levels with at least three years of relevant experience (healthcare experience preferred).
• Meticulous, organised, and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Outgoing personality with a genuine interest in engaging seniors.
• Strong communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Office applications.
