Programme Coordinator – Senior Service

About the role

The Programme Coordinator, Senior Service will work closely with the Centre Lead to connect with seniors, community partners and volunteers. You will help seniors age well in their community by organising activities, providing befriending services and ensuring they receive the support they need.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct outreach to raise awareness of centre programmes and enrol new senior members.
• Carry out basic assessments to identify socially isolated seniors and those with specific needs.
• Collaborate with grassroots organisations, community partners and service providers to build a strong support network.
• Organise and co‑create activities both at the Eldercare centre and off‑site locations, encouraging active ageing.
• Manage volunteers who provide befriending/buddying services and maintain volunteer records.
• Provide information, referral services and follow‑up on referrals to ensure holistic support.
• Perform administrative duties, including data collection, reporting and evaluation.

Required profile

• Minimum education: GCE ‘O’ Levels up to Diploma.
• IT literate with good communication and social skills.
• Pleasant personality, team player yet capable of working independently.
• Strong interest in empowering seniors and preserving their dignity.
• Ability to speak local dialects is an advantage.
