Project Controls Manager

About the role

Silent-Aire, a Johnson Controls company, is a global leader in data center solutions, specializing in AHU, FWU, CDU, CRAC and modular data center systems. Reporting to the Associate PMO APAC Director, the Project Controls Manager leads project controls, planning and document control, ensuring projects follow governance standards, delivery methodologies, project management practices and reporting requirements. The role also owns project controls processes, project engineering standards and PMO continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain project execution governance, tracking and reporting of margin and delivery performance for the APAC portfolio
• Analyze and resolve resource loading bottlenecks for manufacturing, logistics and technical writing with stakeholders
• Maintain project management processes and training program, and ensure consistency in scheduling, forecasting, risk and change management
• Lead PMO governance reviews, audits and project health checks, and drive continuous improvement
• Supervise Project Engineers, Project Controls Engineers and Document Controllers, allocate them across projects and monitor utilization
• Lead, coach and develop the team, conduct performance reviews, and support recruitment, onboarding and succession planning

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with at least 15 years of relevant experience
• Familiarity with the full product development lifecycle, from concept and design through testing and commercialization
• Proven experience in project management and execution, and in managing multiple global stakeholders and large project teams
• PMP or equivalent certification

Required skills

• Experience with commercial, industrial, healthcare, data center or large infrastructure projects is preferable
• Familiarity with quality assurance standards such as ISO or product lifecycle management methodologies
• Strong communication, planning and leadership skills
