Project Director

About the role

NCS, a leading AI Tech Services company and subsidiary of the Singtel Group, is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead its Program Management Office (PMO). The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on project delivery to ensure excellence across multiple product portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as PMO Lead, standardising and implementing project management policies, processes and methodologies.
• Direct urgent project initiatives, including initiation, continuity and recovery efforts.
• Provide executive‑level decision support and analytical insights for senior leadership.
• Establish and maintain delivery mechanisms for coordinated management of business change initiatives.
• Lead and mentor cross‑functional teams to achieve operational efficiency and standardisation.
• Monitor project performance against governance frameworks and escalates risks and issues.

Required profile

• 10+ years of PMO or project management experience in matrixed environments.
• Proven track record in program and project execution and governance.
• Strong ability to manage resources across multiple projects and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Strategic and analytical capability to identify opportunities and advise senior leadership.
• Experience transitioning from reactive to proactive project management approaches.
• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
