Project Engineer – Construction

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Project Engineer to join our construction team and oversee the execution of civil works on site. The role involves coordinating subcontractors, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining safety throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities, ensuring work is performed according to schedule and specifications.
• Coordinate subcontractors, workers, and vendors to keep the project on track.
• Conduct and oversee site tests such as concrete, soil, and waterproofing, and work with QA/QC teams to guarantee compliance.
• Inspect façade installations, identify defects, and manage rectification works.
• Review construction drawings and specifications, providing technical solutions to on‑site issues.
• Prepare daily reports, inspection records, and progress updates.
• Enforce safety protocols, conduct briefings, and monitor site conditions.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and authorities for inspections, approvals, and project updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with relevant site experience.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of construction methods and safety regulations.
• Project coordination and stakeholder management.
• Experience with site testing (concrete, soil, waterproofing).
• Facade inspection and assessment.
• Interpretation of construction drawings and specifications.
• Understanding of QA/QC processes.
