Project Engineer

About the role

The Project Engineer will support the delivery of projects by managing financials, schedules, and customer communications. This role ensures that all project documentation is accurate, up‑to‑date, and aligned with contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Review project expenditures, verify invoices against purchase orders and subcontract terms, and ensure timely approval and payment.
• Update project schedules and prepare management correspondence, including meeting minutes, action‑item tracking, letters, memorandums, transmittals and RFIs.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, building professional relationships and addressing needs within the contracted scope.
• Communicate the project schedule to all team members to guarantee on‑time completion.
• Adjust orders and scope changes for moderate‑size projects as required.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in project engineering or management.
• Theoretical to advanced knowledge gained through education combined with practical experience.
• Familiarity with Carrier’s organization, programs or systems and ability to leverage them in daily work.
