Project Engineer

About the role

As a Project Engineer at Flowserve, you will act as the central point of contact for customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of local order fulfillment and repair activities. You will drive cost‑effective sourcing, on‑time delivery, and uphold the highest engineering standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute customer orders, including direct engagement and meetings when required.
• Review technical documentation, coordinate with engineering, and obtain drawing approvals from customers.
• Provide tactical advice on specification deviations, waivers, and other production issues.
• Lead production planning meetings to communicate product requirements, specifications, and timelines across engineering, product management, production, quality, and procurement.
• Collaborate with internal departments to guarantee on‑time delivery according to agreed terms.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• BS or BA degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 5–7 years of experience in project management or engineering execution.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to interact with all organizational levels globally.
• Collaborative team player and self‑starter capable of working with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Understanding of industrial standards such as API 610.
• Familiarity with engineering documentation, drafting, and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T).
• Knowledge of SAP.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement processes (a plus).
