Project Management Manager / Senior Manager

About the role

NUHS is looking for a Manager or Senior Manager, Project Management to join its development team and plan and coordinate with stakeholders, working closely with consultants so that the hospital's operational requirements and efficiencies align with the Group's strategic direction. The role leads technical coordination meetings with contractors, stakeholder review sessions and project alignment processes to deliver hospital infrastructure on time. It is a 5-year contract position with the possibility of renewal.

Key responsibilities

• Gather project requirements in a timely way by liaising with consultants, the employer's agent, users and contractors, and meeting the overall project timeline.
• Guide users through planning of the hospital and facilitate discussions during design, construction and post-construction, coordinating with medical equipment and facilities maintenance.
• Capture and resolve user requirements, obtain user approvals and sign-offs on milestones, and keep accurate records of discussions.
• Manage contractors and attend to site matters together with other stakeholders during construction and post-construction.
• Support budgetary planning and control so that designs stay within time and approved budget.
• Administer the project in a structured, compliant way, keeping processes aligned with cluster and institution policies and documentation robust.
• Share information with the project team and keep up with healthcare planning topics to support hospital development.

Required profile

• Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil, Structural, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related building industry field.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in project management.
• Healthcare background highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, analytical and project management skills.
• Good time management, multitasking and excellent written and verbal communication.
