Project Manager, Business Process Re-engineering (Loan / Trade / Remittance)

About the role

Abeam Consulting seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead business process re‑engineering initiatives across loan, trade, and remittance services. You will drive transformation, automation and operational improvement projects from planning through delivery, working closely with cross‑functional teams and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end process transformation, automation and business improvement initiatives.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, resource allocation and delivery schedules.
• Control project scope, priorities, dependencies, risks, issues and change requests throughout the lifecycle.
• Establish governance, reporting frameworks and delivery controls; maintain RAID logs and mitigation plans.
• Coordinate Business, Operations, Technology teams and external vendors; facilitate steering committee meetings and stakeholder discussions.
• Oversee solution implementation, deployment planning, business readiness, UAT planning, execution, defect management and sign‑off.
• Track project benefits, productivity improvements and FTE savings; ensure documentation and status reports are up‑to‑date.
• Support regional coordination across countries, business units and functional teams; drive escalations and timely issue resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Project Manager, PMO Manager, Program Manager or Business Transformation Consultant.
• Proven track record leading transformation or strategic initiatives within Banking or Financial Services.
• Strong experience managing multi‑workstream projects, governance processes and stakeholder communication.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver digital transformation, workflow automation and process optimisation.
