Project Manager – IT & Software Development

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple concurrent small‑to‑medium IT and software development projects. The role demands proactive execution, risk mitigation, and strong stakeholder coordination to ensure consistent delivery across all workstreams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage several simultaneous internal IT and software development projects, maintaining detailed plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Identify and resolve blockers promptly through effective follow‑up and escalation.
• Act as a decisive execution leader, removing roadblocks, engaging stakeholders, and driving timely decisions.
• Detect project risks early (schedule slippage, scope creep, dependency delays, quality issues) and communicate them transparently to leadership.
• Enforce project governance, ensuring clear requirements, proper change‑request evaluation, and scope control.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams throughout the project lifecycle to align priorities, timelines, and dependencies.
• Monitor progress against objectives, addressing issues quickly and reporting key metrics weekly and monthly.
• Prepare and present status updates, risk assessments, and executive summaries to management and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on project management experience in IT/software development.
• Active PMP certification from PMI.
• Agile certification (PMI‑ACP, CSM, SAFe Agilist, or equivalent).
• Excellent verbal and written communication in Mandarin and English.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
