Project Manager (Tech Delivery)

About the role

We are seeking a Project Manager to join a government agency team, working closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and IT Infrastructure Engineers to deliver complex ICT initiatives from concept to operation.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of projects, ensuring they are on time, within budget, and meet business and operational requirements.
• Maintain compliance with IT governance frameworks, including security, resilience, and system monitoring.
• Lead audit activities and oversee the implementation of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Partner with the Product Manager to manage product implementation and ongoing support.
• Contribute to the setup and configuration of DevOps tooling.
• Identify operational risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage incident processes.
• Liaise with auditors and cross‑functional stakeholders across government and agency teams.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of project management experience in software or product development environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Agile methodology and full software/product development cycles.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder communication abilities.
• Ability to work in ambiguous environments with minimal guidance.
• Project Management certification such as CITPM, COMIT or PMI.
• Experience in audit, quality management or portfolio management.
• Prior experience delivering ICT projects for government or public‑sector organisations.
