Project Manager (Technical Projects)

About the role

Zensar is seeking a Project Manager to lead large‑scale technical projects in Singapore. The role involves overseeing end‑to‑end delivery for complex initiatives, primarily in the financial services sector, and requires Mandarin language proficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute technical projects from initiation through delivery.
• Manage project initiation activities, including contractual obligations, client goals, and stakeholder engagement.
• Ensure project requirements align with internal operational standards and document exceptions.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, scopes, schedules, budgets and deliverables.
• Collaborate with product development, sales, client relationship, technology solutions and service delivery teams.

Required profile

• Eight or more years of experience managing technical projects in financial services or related technology domains.
• Proven ability to handle projects of 10,000‑40,000 hours, budgets of $1‑4 million, and teams of 50‑150 members.
• Mandarin (Chinese) speaking proficiency is mandatory.
• Experience coaching or mentoring junior project staff.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision on high‑risk, high‑complexity projects.
