Project Manager – Transformers

About the role

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of transformer projects worldwide. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project execution according to contract scope, schedule, and conditions.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate approvals, and resolve issues with internal teams and customers.
• Act as the primary customer contact, ensuring contractual commitments are met.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, coordinate Factory Acceptance Tests, and manage dispatch clearances.
• Collaborate with commercial, logistics, service, and installation teams for invoicing, shipping, testing, and commissioning.
• Report progress to internal stakeholders and senior management.
• Monitor daily productivity, cost to complete, and revenue, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex engineering projects.
• Strong understanding of contract scope, schedule, and cost control.
• Familiarity with factory acceptance testing and transformer technology.
• Excellent communication skills for customer and stakeholder interaction.
• Ability to assess risks proactively and implement mitigation plans.
