Public Relations Internship – Singapore

About the role

You will join the client servicing team of an integrated communications consultancy, supporting technology‑focused clients in Singapore. The internship offers hands‑on experience in public relations, media outreach and content creation while you develop a solid understanding of the communications industry.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor editorial opportunities, research media contacts and compile pitching lists.
• Develop media pitches, follow‑up with journalists and secure coverage.
• Assist new‑business efforts by gathering preliminary research for pitches.
• Draft press releases, bylines and social media copy as needed.
• Maintain calendars of speaking and awards opportunities and prepare abstracts.
• Source vendors, liaise with them and provide on‑site support for events, seminars and video production.
• Support internal employee‑engagement activities such as social events and training programmes.

Required profile

• Commitment to a 6‑12 month full‑time internship.
• Passion for media relations, digital and social marketing.
• Strong administrative and “can‑do” attitude.

Required skills

• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Planning, organisational and research abilities.
• Ability to work independently and know when to seek help.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel and Outlook.
