Purchasing Executive – Procurement & Vendor Management

About the role

The Purchasing Executive will support E&L Kitchen’s procurement activities by managing purchase orders, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring cost‑effective sourcing. This role is based in Singapore and reports to the procurement manager.

Key responsibilities

• Handle purchase administration and order processing from requisition to delivery.
• Negotiate pricing, credit terms, contracts and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Monitor project budgets, develop cost forecasts and track expenditures.
• Evaluate and develop vendors based on quality, on‑time delivery and cost competitiveness.
• Source quotations and liaise with manufacturers, suppliers and internal departments.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in purchasing or procurement.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proactive problem‑solving and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent planning, organizing and prioritization skills.
• Independent, multi‑tasking and capable of implementing improvement processes.
• Team player committed to delivering results.
