Purchasing Supervisor – Front End

About the role

The Purchasing Supervisor will lead procurement activities to secure timely, cost‑effective acquisition of materials, products and services that support KLA’s semiconductor manufacturing operations. This role oversees a team, manages supplier relationships and drives continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily purchasing activities to ensure uninterrupted supply of materials and services.
• Review and approve purchase requisitions and orders within authorized limits.
• Monitor inventory levels, supplier lead times and demand forecasts to avoid shortages or excess.
• Coordinate with planning, operations, engineering, quality, finance and logistics teams.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, conduct evaluations and negotiate contracts.
• Identify cost‑reduction opportunities and drive process improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of purchasing or procurement experience with at least 2 years of supervisory responsibility.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• SAP (ERP/MRP) proficiency.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Power BI for reporting and analytics.
