QA Engineer

About the role

BeeX is seeking a QA Engineer to own the quality system for its Hovering Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (HAUVs). You will ensure that every component and assembly meets strict specifications before vehicles are delivered to maritime, energy and defence clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain BeeX's quality management system, targeting ISO 9001 alignment or certification.
• Plan and conduct internal audits, support external and client audits, especially for energy and defence customers.
• Set up incoming inspection for critical components, qualify suppliers and manage corrective action requests.
• Define inspection checkpoints across HAUV assembly and audit builds against work instructions and standards such as IPC/WHMA-A-620.
• Own final quality sign‑off, manage non‑conformance (NCR) and CAPA processes, and lead root‑cause analysis using 8D, 5‑Why or fishbone methods.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing or Quality Engineering.
• 1–5 years of experience in quality assurance or engineering within electromechanical, robotics, marine, aerospace, defence or precision manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, 8D and control plans.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings with GD&T and use measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, torque tools).
• Familiarity with electronics and harness workmanship standards (IPC‑A‑610, IPC/WHMA‑A‑620).
