QA/QC Engineer – Building Construction

About the role

The QA/QC Engineer will support building construction projects by ensuring that all works meet the required quality standards and project specifications. This permanent position involves close collaboration with project teams, clients, and regulatory bodies to maintain high‑quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Review project specifications, requirements and construction drawings for compliance with quality plans.
• Report QA/QC activities and concerns to the QMR and Project Manager.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation such as PQP, ITP, checklists, test records, material submissions and reports.
• Support ISO, safety, CONQUAS, client and internal audits, including follow‑up actions and closure.
• Coordinate quality‑control activities with operations, design, production and project teams.
• Monitor, track and close NCRs and NCNs.
• Maintain the document‑control system and manage distribution of documents and drawings.
• Conduct site inspections with clients, REs, RTOs and subcontractors to verify workmanship.
• Check delivered materials, test certificates, expiry dates, quality and quantity, reporting any discrepancies.
• Audit suppliers, subcontractors and consultants as required and prepare monthly quality‑performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of QA/QC experience in construction or civil‑engineering projects.
• Experience on condominium projects is essential.
• Strong coordination, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
