QEM/QDM Engineer

About the role

Micron is hiring a QEM/QDM engineer at its Fab 10N/X site. The role supports quality and deviation management, helping coordinate deviation evaluations, drive root cause analysis and maintain quality documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate deviation evaluations with the deviation owners and validate that root causes are supported by data
• Facilitate root cause analysis and systematic troubleshooting, and maintain documentation for excursions
• Help resolve roadblocks, guide deviation questions and identify early-detection deficiencies
• Manage global and internal lessons learned systems and improve cross-area event response methods
• Publish excursion performance to management and facilitate excursion review meetings
• Develop and enhance quality knowledge through workshops and tutorials, and promote quality culture through campaigns, quizzes and competitions
• Communicate corporate quality goals and integrate AI-assisted tools into daily work responsibly

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent
• Organizational skills, strong problem-solving and critical thinking, and proven project management and prioritization abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication, and ability to train team members individually and in a classroom setting
• Experience with Kepner-Tregoe, FMEA, 8D or 5 Whys is preferable
• Familiarity with semiconductor process flow, manufacturing flow, product testing and quality/deviation management systems is preferable
• Experience with SPC and process control solutions is preferable
