Quality Associate Lab & Data Analyst Intern

About the role

The Quality Associate Lab and Data Analyst internship supports the Singapore laboratory operations by developing digital tools, analysing equipment performance, and managing inventory. The role offers hands‑on experience in calibration, data analytics and cGMP practices within a leading pharmaceutical company.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain digital tools to improve equipment calibration/maintenance efficiency and inventory management.
• Analyse data to recommend improvements for equipment performance and inventory demand.
• Manage end‑to‑end laboratory inventory processes, including vendor quotations, purchasing, receiving, storage, monitoring and disposal of chemicals and consumables.
• Ensure equipment calibration and maintenance are completed on schedule and support contractor management for laboratory vendors.
• Maintain laboratory stores following 5S practices and oversee archival, retrieval and disposal of retain samples.
• Create and update Power BI dashboards and other applications to streamline work processes and present findings to the Quality leadership team.

Required profile

• B.Sc in Science, Engineering or a related field with a focus on computing or data analysis.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and experience with Power Apps and Power BI.
• Positive attitude, self‑motivation and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast‑paced laboratory environment.
