Quality Control Manager

About the role

The Quality Control Manager will lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the company's Quality Management System (QMS). This senior position is responsible for driving quality across manufacturing, customer, and supplier interfaces while promoting a strong quality culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the QMS, establishing policies, procedures, work instructions and maintaining quality documentation and records.
• Plan and conduct internal and external quality audits, support ISO 9001 certification activities and coordinate corrective actions.
• Oversee manufacturing and process quality, set inspection and testing requirements, monitor KPIs such as yield, defects and customer complaints.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify root causes and implement sustainable corrective and preventive actions.
• Act as the primary quality interface with customers, handling complaints, investigations and supporting new product introductions.
• Define supplier quality requirements, monitor performance, lead supplier corrective actions and manage incoming material quality.
• Manage non‑conformance and corrective‑action processes using tools like 8D, 5‑Why, Fishbone and SPC.
• Develop quality dashboards, analyse trends, lead continuous‑improvement projects and report performance to senior management.
