Quality Control Specialist Trainee (Attach & Train Program)

About the role

Roche is recruiting a Quality Control Specialist Trainee through its Attach & Train program in Central Singapore. The trainee supports the department by performing quality control tests and data review for batch release of incoming materials, and by helping identify and lead continuous improvement to simplify processes and improve efficiency. Additional responsibilities are taken on as required by the line manager.

Key responsibilities

• Test and review routine and non-routine QC samples according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Complete tests on time and report results to support manufacturing operations.
• Provide general lab support, including housekeeping, equipment maintenance and keeping lab supplies in stock.
• Initiate change control to create or revise SOPs as needed.
• Complete all required training before carrying out GMP activities.
• Work cooperatively with the line manager, take initiative and encourage experimentation and learning.
• Be willing to cover colleagues when needed and comply with all safety, health and environmental requirements.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in chemistry or another relevant discipline preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision once SOPs are known.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Ability to execute established SOPs.
