Quality Management System (QMS) Engineer

About the role

Micron is hiring a Quality Management System (QMS) Engineer for its Fab10 site in Singapore. The role helps ensure that processes meet high standards and run smoothly, supporting quality programmes such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certification, FMEA, measurement system analysis, calibration management, document control and ESD protection. The engineer works with global teams to apply quality standards and continuously improve operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and ensure quality programme performance meets the planned schedule, scope and results.
• Manage programme changes, including scope, plan, business rules, policies and procedures.
• Work with programme teams to identify project risks and evaluate solutions.
• Serve as the local subject matter expert for the assigned quality programme.
• Represent Fab10 on quality programmes with the Frontend Operations network and Global Quality.
• Manage audit and customer visit preparation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Engineering or Science.
• Strong analytical, logical and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communicator who collaborates across all levels.
• Growth mindset and a passion for continuous learning.
• Demonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable.
• Knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred.

Required skills

• Python, R, SQL, Tableau, RPA, Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Experience with IATF 16949 and AIAG quality tools is a plus.
• Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
