Quality Manager

About the role

Applied Materials is seeking a Quality Manager to lead company‑wide quality programs across multiple sites in Singapore. The role is responsible for defining standards, delivering training, and driving continuous improvement to ensure product and process excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Act as subject‑matter expert for the cross‑functional quality program, defining standards, methods and procedures.
• Develop, deliver and cascade quality training and ensure alignment with current programs.
• Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives across business segments to achieve safety, quality, productivity and cost goals.
• Oversee ISO certification processes and manage special projects as assigned.
• Evaluate and develop direct reports through IDP, EDR, continuous feedback and performance reviews.

Required profile

• Demonstrated leadership of multiple teams with resource allocation and priority setting.
• Strong problem‑solving ability to resolve complex technical, operational and organizational issues.
• Experience influencing senior management and driving business results through quality initiatives.
• Understanding of Applied Materials global Standards of Business Conduct and ethical standards.
