Quality Manager (QAQC) – Project Assurance Lead

About the role

The Quality Manager (QAQC) will lead project assurance activities, ensuring that all quality standards are met across the project lifecycle. You will act as the primary liaison with the client’s quality representative and support the Project Manager in developing and implementing quality plans.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all project assurance activities and coordinate with client quality representatives.
• Assist the Project Manager in preparing project‑specific quality plans and procedures.
• Identify and rectify deficiencies in the management system processes.
• Evaluate subcontractors and suppliers for suitability of their Quality Management Systems.
• Manage non‑conformance and corrective‑action registers, ensuring investigations and follow‑ups are completed.
• Assign qualified personnel to conduct audits and facilitate root‑cause analysis when required.
• Conduct ongoing audits and surveillance visits at project offices and subcontractor sites.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of QA/QC experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, infrastructure or communications projects.
• At least 5 years in a senior QA/QC leadership role overseeing entire projects.
• Hands‑on experience establishing and implementing QA/QC systems for EPIC‑scale projects.
• QMS Lead Auditor certification or equivalent.
• Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards and best practices.
