Quantity Surveyor – Construction Cost Management

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor will support project managers and reporting superiors in managing all cost‑related aspects of construction projects, from initial tendering through to final account settlement. This role involves close collaboration with consultants, contractors and internal teams to ensure accurate costing and effective variation control.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with project managers and reporting superiors on project costing, variation works and final accounts.
• Prepare and issue tender documents, call for quotations and confirm scopes of work with contractors.
• Attend site meetings, conduct site visits and provide cost updates on‑site.
• Manage the full Quantity Surveyor cycle – pre‑contract, tendering, progress claims and post‑contract final accounts.
• Control project costs, maintain proper documentation and ensure accurate cost reporting.
• Support cost control activities and assist in market pricing analysis.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; candidates with at least 2 years of relevant experience are a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage documentation accurately.
