Quantity Surveyor – Construction

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team. The role involves managing cost estimation, tender preparation and contract administration for building projects. The successful candidate will work closely with subcontractors, suppliers and project managers to ensure accurate budgeting and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Take off quantities from drawings and prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Source and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers, obtain quotations and compile tender submissions.
• Evaluate price comparisons, produce costing summaries and support contract negotiations.
• Administer project documentation, prepare interim valuations, manage contract variations and update claim submissions.
• Prepare final accounts and assist with project close‑out.
• Conduct site measurements and certify subcontractor progress payments.
• Perform other quantity surveying duties as required.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Building or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Minimum three years of experience in building construction.
• Good understanding of building contracts and conditions.
• Ability to work under pressure and a willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in Mandarin to handle client and associate communications.

• Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
