Quantity Surveyor – Construction

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team in Singapore. The role involves managing cost aspects of projects, from tender preparation to final account settlement, ensuring financial control throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take‑offs, source subcontractors and suppliers, and price tender submissions.
• Award contracts to subcontractors and coordinate the purchase of construction materials.
• Conduct site measurements and submit monthly progress payment claims.
• Identify, prepare, and submit variation work claims.
• Liaise with consultants and developers on progress claims, variation orders, and final account reconciliation.
• Evaluate and certify subcontractor payment claims while ensuring contractual compliance.
• Monitor project expenditure and advise the Project Manager on cost impacts of specification changes.
• Resolve contractual and costing issues as they arise.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with a contractor.
• Strong problem‑solving ability, teamwork orientation, and capacity to meet tight deadlines.
• Mature interpersonal and communication skills.
