Quantity Surveyor – Construction Projects

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor will support construction projects by managing the full tender process, measuring quantities, and handling variations and payments. You will work closely with the Contracts Manager and on‑site teams to ensure accurate cost control and timely submission of tender documents.

Key responsibilities

• Attend site briefings and conduct site walk‑throughs.
• Organise and execute the tender process, including briefing management, obtaining quotations, quantity take‑offs, and preparing comparison reports.
• Compile tender submissions under the guidance of the Contracts Manager.
• Measure quantities, evaluate variations, and process payment responses for subcontractors.
• Obtain quotations, negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers, and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare variation orders, claims, final accounts, settlements, and subcontractor payments.
• Perform any other quantity surveying tasks as required.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 2 years of construction experience, preferably in A&A projects.
• For Singapore‑based roles, at least 6 years of local main‑contractor experience.
• Proven ability in tender estimation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and variation order management.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
