Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team, overseeing project costs from inception to completion and ensuring financial performance aligns with schedule and budget.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
• Prepare tender documentation, conduct measurements, develop cost reports and cost plans, manage the tender process and evaluate bids.
• Prepare variation orders, assess associated costs, handle loss & expense claims, produce monthly financial reports, process progress payments and finalize accounts.
• Provide cost and financial advice to project teams, support claim negotiations, manage contractual changes and resolve disputes with contractors.

Required profile

• Recognised degree in Quantity Surveying with solid understanding of construction processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation and mediation abilities.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem‑solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, resourceful and a collaborative team player.
• Willingness to travel overseas for project assignments.
