Quantity Surveyor

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team in Yishun. The role will focus on managing project costs, preparing tender and contract documents, and supporting the financial administration of construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage measurements and cost estimates from initial calculations to final accounts.
• Develop tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
• Evaluate and negotiate tenders from contractors and subcontractors.
• Perform quantity take‑offs and prepare cost estimates for project and tender submissions.
• Review and interpret civil & structural, architectural, and M&E drawings.
• Conduct cost analysis, monitor project costs and ensure objectives are met.
• Assess payments and variations for clients and subcontractors.
• Liaise with clients, management and subcontractors to monitor progress of works.
• Track project progress and handle measurement and valuation of variations for interim payments and final accounts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, processes and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in construction cost management.
• Knowledge of civil and architectural works preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Experience with building, HDB, condominium or similar scale projects is an advantage.
